Kids enjoy Rhea Heritage booth
Hundreds of children and their parents stopped by the Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation booth at Monday’s Kids’ Night festivities during the 78th Tennessee Strawberry Festival.
Many took advantage of the opportunity to pet a bearded dragon, and early arrivals “fished” for a goldfish in the prize pool.
“The Kids’ Night activities have become a favorite for the community, and RHPF is excited to be a part,” RHPF President Rick Dye said. “Kids and adults alike enjoyed seeing some exotic animals up close, and of course they all enjoyed the candy.”
Guests also were offered information about RHPF programs coming this summer, including the Nokian Tyres Summer Nights Concerts in June and Scopes Trial Centennial activities in July. For more information about both events, visit the RHPF website at www.rheaheritage.com.
