Summer Nights concerts continue with Eddie Beavers

Last Updated 6/11/2025

Eddie Beavers, a highly versatile musician, will take the Rhea County Courthouse outdoor stage Friday, June 13, for the second night of the Nokian Tyres Summer Nights concert series.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. on the Rhea County Courthouse lawn, and food trucks will be available. Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the opening of the seventh annual Nokian Tyres Summer Nights concert series.

Eddie hails from Alabama and now lives in Tennessee. A true Southern original, Eddie's music is shaped by a life full of hard-earned experiences, with deep roots in gospel, classic country, southern rock, blues and soul. His music is raw, real and soulful.

“I love playing music to crowds that enjoy a traditional-style baritone country voice,” he said. “It’s all I’ve ever done. I’ve been playing on stage since age 10 with my Dad’s band.”

Eddie has performed all over East Tennessee and western Wisconsin regions in country clubs, restaurants, bars, tiki bars, VFW’s and private parties and wedding receptions.

“I also worked with a road band for 15 years that opened for more than 50 national country acts in Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, South and North Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Alabama, Indiana, Tennessee and Canada,” he added.

His play list ranges from 1968 to 2024, and he covers a wide range of country stars, but especially anything by Merle Haggard. He plans on playing his own title, “Walking Into Walls,” “I Never Lie,” “Use Me,” and “Lonely For Long,” by Zach Top.

Nokian Tyres sponsors the event as part of its commitment to serving the community where it operates an award-winning production factory. The company currently employs approximately 500 team members at its Dayton factory, where it makes all-season and all-weather tires for the North American market. The global tiremaker began supporting the concert series in 2019.
