Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation makes presentation to Tennessee teachers

Last Updated 2/8/2025

RHPF Vice President Tom Davis presented a workshop on the Scopes Trial for Tennessee History for Kids on Feb. 6. He covered causes of the trial, legal strategies, the outcome, and why we’re still talking about a misdemeanor case 100 years after the fact.

March 18-20 RHPF will present the play “How It Started,” a lecture/discussion about the trial, and a tour of the Rhea Heritage & Scopes Trial Museum. The program is designed for students, but is open to anyone interested.

Registration is free, but required as space is limited. For information or to register, email [email protected].
